Last year’s winner Andrea Sturmey said “Of course I am very sad that my year has to come to an end, I would have loved to be Miss Black Country forever but it's time for someone else to step up and wear the crown. I was very excited to meet the 10 finalists and had a brilliant time judging them all on Saturday night”.

Nathan Corden, Head of Commercial Development for Wolverhampton Racecourse said “it was a great night for both the Racecourse and Roshni. I’m sure she will take the Miss Black Country baton from our previous winner, and do a great service to the area over the next year. We also wish her the best of luck at the finals of Miss England”.
